Shelf Life Of unopened Primer Activator

Got a call today about 4 hours after I ordered some 2k high build primer activator, 2k regular primer and activator and waterbourne w&g remover to go out of town for work in 3 weeks that's going to last about 6 months. If this stuff is kept in the basement unopened will it go bad? I also just received an order of SPI epoxy primer and activator from ChadS. If I hurry I want to spray the whole truck with the epoxy from top to bottom and bumper to bumper, then put it outside in the sun until the last minute before I have to leave, then tarp it for storage during the winter (snow..upstate NewYork) until I can get back to work on it again next summer. Am I going to have any surprises when I go to untarp this onhold project?

The activator unopened will easily be fine in six months.
The trap covering is a very bad idea.

If you use a tarp make sure it's breathable, the basic woven polytarps work fine but you don't want solid plastic or any type of fabric that doesn't shed water.

Ok, thanks. I also have one of those 10x20 portable garages with the side walls. If I brase up the flimsy pole structure it might handle the winter snow and wind we get here. Thanks again, Ricker

Whats the longest a half of a gallon can of epoxy can last? Should it not be used if over 6 months old? How about year old activator that has been unopened.

If you flip the part A upside down and then every 3 weeks or so flip it the other way, it will out last You and Me.
Activator figure 3 years.

Ok, all set to do an all over epoxy spray tomorrow. Temps are supposed to be mid 80's. A couple days before I leave I'm putting the truck in a friends barn for the winter. Thanks everyone for your help and guidance, great site and product....Ricker
