Softening Vinyl on Dash Pads

The pad on my sliding ashtray is in good shape overall but very hard.
Looking for suggestions on getting the vinyl softened up a bit and more flexible.

Most of the online searches lead to Vinyl Protection products and the only things I see for softening seem to be homemade stuff, using mineral or baby oil.

Baby oil, neatsfoot oil, hand lotion, Rv slide lube spray.
Baby oil, I have found the best value and use on convertible top seals about once a year, as well as dash and door trims.

Good questions. Maybe someone has found something better.

My first real job as a kid was detailing used cars at the local Ford dealer. They had me use automatic transmission fluid on vinyl dash pads.

CG VRP . it is for vinyl , rubber , plastic . used it to detail my trucks. made all the plastic look new.

Don't know how well this will work but it may be worth a try.

Thanks. I had a bottle of their leather conditioner and applied that. It did help quite a bit, so I can only imagine how well this will work.

I had read that earlier.
The Chemical Guys Leather Conditioner I had, seemed to soften it up pretty good.
I needed it flexible enough where I could re-glue the bottom edge to the metal.
