I have a fiberglass airdam that i sanded down, prepped, then epoxied. I did some minor filling with putty, then another coat of epoxy. 3 or 4 spots keep popping out after i paint. They are about 1/16 inch spots. I sand them down, but they keep popping out. Is it the resin in the fiberglass popping out? There is a couple areas where i painted over and the spots didn't come back, but you can see in the base coat where i sanded. I sprayed over the sanded area with base coat a couple of times but you still can see the sanded area. How can i cover area so you won't see it? There's spots sticking out after base coat also. I feel like i should dig out these spots and fill with putty, then epoxy. I would have to epoxy the whole airdam wouldn't I? I feel like i should just start over. Anyone know what i'm talking about?
