Stan ?

I have an old siphon gun made by Stan and can't seem to find much info on it. I can't seem to find a model number on it. All I found is that it likes 29 psi. I was wonder what size the tip/nozzle would/might be and would it be good enough for laying some epoxy and Slick Sand ?
Thx

Sick sand youre gonna need 2.0 or bigger tip
Not sure on the epoxy

Ok after even further searching it should be star ? The r sure looks like an n to me but anyways....

That's the strange thing, no model # anywhere. The body is black and the trigger & front nozzle area is chrome.

here's a pic

I reduced polyester primer once with acetone, and it softened the epoxy under it. No it wasn't spi epoxy, it was ppg. I have been using spi fast reducer to thin in now (slick sand) it works great.

What coincidence, so after my PM with you I researched if I could buy them anywhere here in Canada but found nothing at the time. So I placed my order with Northern Tools ( they were on back order ) and they gave me the ph # for Vaper ( which now I know is Titan Tools ) So I gave them a call to ask a couple of ?'s, they ended up being very helpful and friendly. They told me of a place up here that just started selling them. They were also nice enough to send me a free aluminum cup for a replacement/exchange for the guns I bought. I ended up cancelling the N T order as I found them to be cheaper here ( $50 ) after you take into account the shipping and exchange, plus they were on sale here. So I took your advise ( Shine's ) and got the 2.3 for SS and 1.4 for epoxy and other things. Now I just hope for the best. :encouragement:

Note: in case anyone else here is from Canada, it's Princess Auto that is now selling them and along with a few other Vaper accessories/tools.

Wouldn't thinning SS defeat the purpose of what it's for ( I guess if thinned to much ) ?
