Temp ranges for reducers and activators

I tried to search the forum but couldn’t find anything. My question is what are the ideal temps for the each activator/reducer? I ask because here in houston Texas the temps are starting to be somewhat unpredictable and my area to spray has limited abilities to warm up to 70 deg.

Reducers are 50-65,fast, 65-75, medium, 75-90 slow I think, and 90 and up for Xtra slow. Activators are similar ranges.
I usually use a slower reducer and activator than what is called for.

Thanks, I currently have slow reducer and activator and don’t plan on doing any painting below 65 . I realize I need to give it more flash time at a lower temp.

In the collision shops there are no ideal reducers or activators as so many factors play into it . That is the nice part of using SPI clears you can make the clear work for the condition. On restorations I will use a slower reducer and activator with longer flash times.

At 65 or up for all-overs we normally say 885 for reducer and slow activator for the clear.
If spot work
870-70 degrees
885 -85 degrees
895 -95 degrees
This is just a general guide as a lot of other factors play into this and you need to mix for what works best for your conditions.
