temperature for painting

R

RAC65

I don't have a shop to work in so all my work is done outside under a carport. I was wondering what temp would be OK to paint in. It is supposed to be somewhere in between 65to70 tomorrow. Is that warm enough or should I wait? Thanks for your advice.

Most info you ever need is listed here somewhere. epoxy primer is the one item that metal temperature should,t drop under 65 degrees for at least 24 hours. Go to product section, epoxy ,& read info about it.VERY important warning to heed.

Other products are ok. Even if you have a reducer meant for warmer weather, it'll still dry, just slower. May need longer flash times between coats.

The parts I need to spray already have epoxy and 2k on them, they just need a little more sanding and the topcoat. I may go ahead and spray it and just give it more flash time between coats. Thanks for the info.

Products are formulated for those temps. Get them in the Sun and your better off.
