I bought SPI paint Single stage because of it's durability. When painting True fire Kandy on SPI Single Stage Black Paint and needing to touch up any screwed up areas. Can mix 2 ounces of Single Stage with hardner and reducer to spray through a cheaper airbrush with a .05 needle?
Has anyone tried this or try to get an small amount of base coat that same color? Probably not possible.
Or just live with any mistakes in the flame paint job. Yes I will clear coat eeverything when finished
Thanks

you can reduce the ss if you want to go through an airbrush no problem. if your areas your touching up are cut throughs from prepping the ss for flames then you will want to use ss. you will need to lock down that cut through as the solvent from your fire can wrinkle the feathered out edges around the cut through. make sure you let the repair cure really good. maybe a day or two before you do any artwork or candy over it

Ok thank you. Sounds complex , could I cover the small black areas i want gone with HOK Passion Pearl Purple?.
The SS SPI paint will have two layers of Clear for some buffer zone.
Thanks
