My car is just about ready to paint and I've reserved a paint booth for a couple weeks from now. I started with SPI epoxy, followed by PPG JP202 High Build Primer Surfacer, which is how it sits now. Since the car will now be sitting outside for a couple weeks, will I need to sand and/or apply a sealer before base coat? I have some SPI epoxy left over that I could reduce down as a sealer if I need to. Though the car will be sitting outside for two weeks I can put it in the garage if rain is forecast.
