Universal Clear ever get hard ??

Hey guys, Its been about a month now spraying UC. Does the UC clear ever get hard ?? Still appears to be somewhat soft and prone to scratches.

Yes Don, not as much as I would have liked though over the course of a month.

UC doesn't really get hard like Euro does. It's supposed to be infinitely buffable.

UV clear stays softer, but it shouldn't be "soft" after a month. I can only guess that you being in upstate NY the temps have been lower and it's taken longer to cure. How many coats? Are you sure you activated it correctly? 1:1 is the ratio.

Def activated correctly 1:1. I was Anal lol , 4 coats.

Try getting it in the sun as much as you can the next couple of weeks. That should help.

figure 3.5 weeks per coat but 4 coats and 7 full days in the sun it won't micro scratch and finish curing from there.
It will take forever if lack of sun.
