Using Epoxy on Galvanized metal.

Barry, I just bought a new gas tank for the Mustang and was wondering if I can spray it with epoxy? I know at work if we paint galvanized gutters the paint eventually peels off.

Not a problem, Clean with 700 only, then HAND sand only with 180, clean with 700 again, let set one hour and spray two wet coats of epoxy using NO urethane reducer.
