Wet Sanding

Am I missing something? I have been trying to wet sand SPI epoxy with 600 grit. Using a Dura Block. The block has so much suction between the paper and the panel it is hard to move across the panel. I added Dawn dish soap thinking it would make it slick and glide...it didn't help. You can see in the picture my block is stuck on the panel like it was glued. Any advice?

A steady stream always makes it easier.
Find someway to let a hose trickle over it.
I use some tubing connected to my garden hose and
an old speaker magnet to hold it in place.

Less pressure on the pad as well. Hold it lightly. Don't press down.

I always forget that sandpaper does the cutting, not me.

Keep spraying the water on the panel continuously. You need to spray the mud away.

i bought a piece of surgical tube at ace to put on my 1/4 hose. use it for a dribble hose. wont scratch the paint but will keep your paper flushed.
