What do you guys think about this compressor

I'd think if parts were available and not overly expensive it'd be a good snag

If it can run on 120 volt, it can't be larger than a 2HP unit.
so it may be a little small for painting.

The speedaire units are made by Champion. You can use Champion replacement parts cheaper than buying at Grainger. That looks like a single stage twin cylinder unit. Therefore cooler operating temps, lower working pressure up to 135psi. Ad says not holding pressure! If the tank leaks, it is a time bomb. Otherwise if it is leaking back out of the unloader valve (tube fitting on the front of the pump), then it is a dirty check valve at the tank. Leaking tanks are dangerous, and new replacement tanks cost more than the compressor is worth. That Baldor motor new goes for about $400 right now. Champion pumps and Baldor motors are good stuff!

Thanks for the info, I am a little worried about the tank as well. I'll look at it up close, but worried since you can't tell the condition of the inside of the tank.

I have to correct my statement. 120 psi, not 135. 19 CFM, 788 rpm pump speed. Hopefully someone here will chime in on whether a 1 stage vs. 2 stage pump is a good idea for painting. Your operating pressure will be about 90-120, vs the higher psi of 2 stage units. Since it needs work, I'd low-ball the price.

Look for an Ingersoll t30. Kind of a standard for the last 5 decades or so
