Question please:
Decided to sand with 800 the Euro clear I put on my 68 Corvette 6 months ago and then apply 3-4 more coats of Euro in order to clean up some defects in the clear in the ongoing effort to do better!

Per the Perfect Paint Job:
Clear Option 2: Layering multiple coats of clear over multiple days: Spray 3-4 coats of clear waiting exactly 30 minutes between coats. Do not bake! You can set the booth at 80°-90° and leave it on if you wish. The next day, if possible, let the car sit in the daylight/sun all day regardless of air temperature as all we want is UV light. The following day or anytime after, wet sand the car with 800 grit and put it back in the sun for at least a half a day; a full day would be better. Clean the car with 700 waterborne wax and grease remover. Do it carefully as anything left behind will destroy the paint job. Let it sit 60 minutes then apply 3-4 more coats of clear waiting 30 minutes in between coats.

So my question is:
If I sand the Euro with 800 today do I need to do the 700 and apply more clear the next day as stated? or can I wait a couple of days or exactly how long after the 800?
What is the open window after 800?

Much thanks!
