Finished up all my paint work a week ago and it all turned out well thanks to many of your help. When i hung my doors back on i took a step back to take her in and i realized i painted a small strip under the door black, when it was supposed to be tan, hah. Whoops. Well it won't take long to fix but im curious, can i just scuff with 180 and epoxy, color and clear?
Our does the existing new paint need to cure longer? I could take it back to bare metal but that seems like over kill on a daily driver...

No need for epoxy since your clear is fresh. Also 180 is way too coarse you really just want to dull the surface and shoot your base.

Really? That's great to hear. So i can shoot base right over the clear? So something like 400 or 600 grit or are you talking red scuff pad?

I would use 600 or a red scuff pad with med. pressure. Be careful not to lay the base on to heavy or it could lift up on you. Also if it was me, I would double my flash times just to be sure of no problems
