It seems like it would but I'm not sure because of the ethanol content of pump gas nowadays.
I don't see why not but I have not tested soaked in gas, I know people have used it for coating inside gas tanks but don't know the gas they are using.
Easy test, spray two coats let set a few week and drop in gas, with Brake fluid I will pull panel out in week and then go to every other week.
