Yea, there is absolutely nothing available that I have found for this thing.
I have a friend that is helping me out on a lot of the patches to. I don't have a shear or break that works to good as of yet. Thats next years goal..
Going to build the running boards from scratch also. That'll be a project.

The patches look great. I would like to get into the metal fab a little more myself but the breaks, sheers, wheels, etc. all cost money.

That is some great looking work, as usual Chad. You seem to get some really fun looking stuff in there.

"68" That equipment can get expensive, if you really need it all. Actually you don't need much equipment to do metalshaping. You can do most everything by hand if you wanted to. Go to "Metalmeet.com" and they can show you how to do most anything by hand. Even the beads can be doine by hand instead of using a bead roller, although the roller will make it a lot easier, and a cheap version is available from Harbor Freight for not that much.

i will not miss the metal work . the cars are getting worse every year. i am looking forward to getting back into glass work again. but of course i will always have a body mod going on. i enjoy chopping tops and such but just burnt out on rust repair.
looks good chad. a 36 in combo from northern tools is well worth the money. sheer / bend and roll all in one tool.

I got both of the two tools you guys referred to, the cheap harbor freight roller, and the combo shear, brake, roller, although that came from harbor freight also.
I do hope to expand upon my metal tools over the next year or so but I do have to say you can do quite a bit with these tools.

Signed up today. Amazing the first name I saw was Randy Ferguson. I remember him from a few years back on a site I used to visit and was always amazed at his work. I couldn't imagine doing a car without some filler work. It really is an art.
