1968 Ford F-350

Started this project about a year ago. A friend of mine began the project, for his employer at the time, before I recieved it. After his passing (my friend) we got together and decided to finish the project as the owner wanted to proceed. Was his first work truck he bought for his company some 30 years ago. Sadly, nothing on this project is spi, although I wish it were. Painting was done on it before i made the complete switch to spi products. Lesonal base and Lesonal clear.

As I recieved it, in a box. You know how it goes!

That is awesome! Very nice work. I think that A/C panel would drive me a little nuts being white but you guys did a great job.

Great job!!

Someday maybe mine will look that good. It is a 1969 F350 ramp truck that I bought years ago to take my race car to shows.

thanks! I was weary of taking the job on at first, considering it was in a box with ALOT of missing parts some how. Originally the bumper, grill, and headlight trim were all painted white. No windshield chrome...this was a plane jane truck. definately didn't have a/c! Started out going back that way...then he walked in with all the chrome stuff!! LOL. Only miles this truck will see...are the ones on the way home.
 
That is a really clean truck! I don't know why, but it is mostly on trucks that I see so - so work at the cruises. Not this one though! Super nice.
 
If that's a standard shift truck, someone forgot to put the clutch pedal back in...if not, that's one funky floor shifter for an automatic...but it's a sweet F350 all right.
 
It's an automatic.....

He liked the look of the long shifter from the standard shift. He has a bum leg so he wanted changed to an auto. Its a C6 tranny.
