Got the sway bar installed today:

Bought this for my horn button but have no idea how to install it. I guess it was too long for this old brain to retain the information.

Steering couple kit came so I got that hooked up.

While working on that the car kept rolling away from me, so I connect the parking brake cables and got them adjusted as well.
Ordered the stripe kit package today (yes blue sport stripes) and while waiting I started installing the tail lights.

Need to find where I put the trunk lock assembly. Amazing how things disappear on me.

25% of the time in the shop is spend looking for the part that I put where I would not forget.
25% spent looking for the tool I just had in my hand.
25% spent staring at the car and "thinking" about what to do next.
The rest of the time is spend actually working on the car. 2/3rds of that has to be re-done afterwards.
Overall, I think I'm making good progress ;)

thats about right.

i lost my little dewalt 20v light for about 4 days. i used it to when i installed my antennas. its magnetic so i stuck it under the quarter panel so i could see the under side of the antenna to install. forgot about it. spent the next 4 or 5 days looking for it....

there you are.. thought maybe you hung yourself with the wiring kit... :)

That's what I hate about LED lights!
With the magnetic base it's nice to put them where needed BUT they give no warning when the battery is about to give up!
So it's easy to get busy then the light goes out and you can't see the light anymore.

Lost one for good I thought and when we put the truck back up on the lift 6 months later. Believe it or not I found my LED light! Still stuck to the frame rail. After charging it did worth a week or two but I guess the 6 month ride under the truck was too much and it failed.

I noticed on @Jim Kuenemans thread the small magnetic light, so I thought that was a good and bought two of them just in case, and the headlamp version is really helpful when working under the dash and some other areas, because there are no shadows, the light shines on anything the eye can see.

Ah ha, you just reminded me that I have one of those headlamp set ups. I think it's in my elk hunting gear.

I thought I was the only one! Except I spend 40% Looking for tools and parts and 50% planning, indecision & re-planning. Gets worse with age.

I thought I was the only one that stood and stared... then thought... then posted about it... thiought some more... then ok, I'm diving in... but where's the part???where's the tool??? ok, I'll hit it first thing tomorrow..

To small as I like more light. Those only put out 350 LM. Mine puts out 1100 LM! Now I can see!
Plus I have went thru at least 5-6 of these so I know what fails. If you get this style which is a small flash light mounted in a rotating mount. You have removed any and all wires and weird switches that are failure prone. This style has been the only one to hold up for me.

I see now they have raised the output to 1200LM!!
A bit more expensive at around $30.

Got the stripe kit and installed the burgundy reflect stripes on the tail panel and lights.
Messed up in one spot but my efforts to purchase just the one stripe I needed failed.
Here it is test fitted. Shows I need to tweak the trunk lid alignment a bit.

I'm impressed with the work you've done with the tail panel. I've been following your progress with it. You're like the Energizer Bunny, you just keep plugging away. You're so close to having it dialed in. I'm glad you're taking the time with that trim panel. It really is a visually pleasing, in your face, statement.

Job well done,

Thanks. It's far from perfect but as they say, it looks good from 10 ft.
I just can't afford the high cost of replacement parts so I do what I can to make them look descent.
