I've been working on this car since last winter and finally got it painted. SPI Dark red over white epoxy. I did all the body work in white epoxy and think I won't do that again since its so difficult to see the imperfections. I wanted a white under coat to give the red more pop, but think I'll just wait till the sealer coat to spray white, or do like Rusty did and use the red epoxy. I had to do 4 coats of the dark red to make it look even. Thanks to Rusty for giving my some tips on how he does it.
I was worried about the panels matching up so I painted 3 coats of red, then put the doors on and headlight buckets, then shot a 4th. The hood and decklid were painted separate with 4 coats but appear to match well with the body. 5 coats of Euro on top. Now the fun time to cut and buff.
