74 Vette Spare Tire Tub Repair

I've been doing hobbyist body work for a year and am getting more proficient now, with filler, sanding, blocking, priming. But never did any fiberglass work. My neighbor's 74 Corvette has a spare tire tub that has a hole in it and is cracked too. What are the steps and materials to make this repair. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Not really worth it, seems to me the last new one i bought cost $59. a couple of years ago. 68-82 are same.

But if you want to fix, two part adhesive (duramix 4240) or fiberglass matting will work.
