A little Rain

So, I painted epoxy yesterday morning over week old, sanded epoxy. Two wet coats and left everything out in the sun. About 4 hours later, one of those little "pop-up" thunderstorms soaked everything out there. I can't see any signs of damage to the paint, and I figured everything would be fine, but just thought I'd ask here and see what everyone else thought?

Thanks for the help, guys. I sanded the epoxy yesterday, and I'm pretty sure it's not damaged.

How about for black Epoxy as a final-finish? In my case, for my truck frame and firewall.
I'm looking at rain as soon as 10 hours after I finish spraying.
Will the rain cause issues with the looks of the finish?

I'll have a car-cover over it but that's still going to let a little moisture through.

Temps will be right about 65F after the first five hours in the sun.
I'm usually about two-three degrees warmer than my forecast.

I, personally, have no experience with what you are asking, but I had a Nova with black epoxy, air temperature in the mid 50's, that had metal temperatures over 100 after an hour in the sun. If you have it in the sun for 5 hours I doubt there will be any damage to the surface from rain. I would not put a cover on it as that has more chance of causing damage, IMO.

I sprayed an oil can yesterday and then let it get wet this afternoon.
Other than water spots, it seems fine I guess.
The water spots seem like they might come off if I were to use some sort of detailer spray.
I used a wet thumb to wipe and got a bit of the spots off.
I'll try the detailer spray tomorrow morning but I suspect it's fine.

The cover won't really touch much of anything.
Nothing important anyhow.
