A question for the mustang guys around

currently working on a 69, I have elected to use the the 70 front apron/valance to eliminate the turn signals appropriate for 69. the problem is I was planning to use a 70 front chin spoiler but I only see them coming in a textured fiberglass or oem plastic(id prefer fiberglass) . I dont want any texture in it and the plan is to paint it to match the car so my question is, are the mounting locations the same from 69-70 on that part? If so I will just order a 69 piece since it comes in smooth glass.
