I know some of you on here have used them some don't like them but wondering if anyone out there has any AFS Sanding blocks( with the removable rods) for sale put there or doesn't use them any more? I am looking to purchase for some upcoming projects. Thanks you

Thanks for rubbing it in Jim.. lol , if you find out he doesn't use them I will buy them off you.

Thank you all for alternatives have a tried some others but I like those AFS "I think" they are pretty versatile and got that monte in my pic straight as arrow, but the person I borrowed them from moved away. That's why I was hoping someone who has them has found an alternative they like and are looking to sell theirs ..lol

I love my afs blocks. I also have a set of the linerear blocks also along with a bunch of homemade acrylic blocks. I dont think anything will be as comfortable as the afs blocks. I guess acrylic blocks will always get things straighter. I tend to do my initial cuts with acrylic, but when I get up into the 320/400 range, I always grab the Afs blocks. Just a personal preference I guess.

Agree they just feel great and are comfortable especially when you don't do it as often and just work on projects every so often, they make a novice look good I think .

Yep, the ergonomics of the AFS blocks can’t be beat. Acrylic works but they are not easy to grip for long sanding sessions imho.
