Thought I would share some photos of some of the work I've done to get my air system closer to "project ready"
First, I built my air manifold with 1" copper tubing. I've got several drop legs and separate feeds for general air work and the spray gun. The 3/8 soft line will be replaced once I get my new pump mounted. Still thinking on how to cool the air before it goes into the tank. Copper coil, heavy truck fluid cooler, or something homemade.
Next, after looking at the various final filtration set ups I decided to build my own desiccant dryer. This is made from 304 stainless steel and is tig welded. I'll install a sight glass in the 1" NPT outlet and the 1/2 outlets are for air-in / air-out.
