I need a clear coating that I can put on aluminum that will get relatively hot. I would like to coat some engine pieces and keep the natural aluminum look...some type of high-heat clearcoat?
Lots of them, but none are any good, for long term, just a fact.
Only one worth a crap i know was designed for wings of jets about 14 years ago to help with deicing, made by J&R industries but seems to me they sold out about four years ago.
You will probably have to use a high temp powder coat. I use black and cast all the time but I'm not sure if there is a clear high temp. Caswell or columbia powder would let you know.
