Amount of paint for stripes ?

I am about ready to paint my car with SPI dark red and have that paint . I am not sure how much paint I need to get to paint the white stripes . It is a 72 Chevelle . I hate to buy a quart if I only need a pint for the stripes. It has be a while since I painted anything and I dont remember how much I used for the stripes last time I painted it. Thanks guys.

Even a pint would probably be overkill, but these questions can be hard to answer because there are many variables that affect material usage. I'd probably say get a pint, that is usually a quart sprayable which should be plenty.

I agree with Rusty, you never know and if something does happen then fixing is not a problem.
