Just like the title says, has anyone had a chance to try the new SATA RP 5000 , preferably with a 1.4 tip ?
I just held one in hand last week and I was very close to pulling the trigger, no pun intended lol, but it was the 1.3 tip and I'm not sure that's
the ideal size to spray the Universal 2.1 and Euro 2.1 VOC clears, or if I wanted to spray the SPI Matte Black that specifically calls for a 1.4 tip.
I have seen a few posts on refinishing network forum and a couple of videos online, but that doesn't really tell me much since I have
never sprayed with SATA before I have no point of reference as when people say "it is faster than the 4000" or "almost as fast as the 3000".
I currently use the Iwata LPH-400 1.4 Tip and it does a great job for collision work, except when it comes to painting a BIG complete vehicle,
then you can really feel the 'slow and deliberate' description that this guns get, I just wish the LPH-400 was a bit faster.
Thanks for all your comments and suggestions in advance.
