Any tips or tricks to spraying the underside of my hood?

Shooting White epoxy on an 85 Chevy truck hood and it has a whole lot of nooks and crannies like a lot of hoods.
I'll be using my Iwata lph400 and thinking I should cut back on the air and fluid to get a narrow fan to get in the holes and tight edges.
Should be a learning experience for sure. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks.
here's what it looks like,

I was having trouble thinking about how to explain it, but Don did a great job.
I think I might do a little more than that in certain areas, you can see as you go where areas aren't getting coverage.
Don't get too fancy, or the high areas will get too much.

I use my 1.0 touch up gun. Takes longer but way more control. For epoxy I go "just covered" on first coat. Also started heating the epoxy to about 90 degrees before spraying, seems to help.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I'll give them a try once I get it scuffed and the weather is good

Well that didn't come out to bad considering, 2 coats of off white epoxy.

But since the truck is white I thought I'd just shoot the underside with a couple coats of white epoxy and call it good, but while mixing the paint using last years root beer colored activator, I never gave it a thought until it was to late that I wanted this to be a white finish product, and not a cream color.
Sooo, I guess I can shoot a couple more coats with my new activator, or maybe a sealer coat and a couple coats of the single stage. I think I'm leaning towards the SS finish paint.
I got my share of light cratering which has leveled out for the most part. I really appreciate all the advice given, and did try to use it, but in the end I just did what worked for me. I did find myself following the patterns in the stamping which got real confusing... lol. Maybe a beer would help on the next round.

Different opinion here, I would spray a light coat of white sealer just before doing the SS. Allow proper flash times . Just saying what I would do. I absolutely despise having to redo something because I was in a hurry.

Heating. No need for that. Set it on the porch and by lunch time it will be 110 degrees....almost bubbling. Lol

Do you plan on running some sort of under hood insulation or mat. That would make things way easier. Just throwing ideas
