....... 15 - 20 minutes to get extra working time during 90* heat days?

Do you see any I'll effects of doing so?

Thank you,
Mike

I wouldn't do it. You wouldn't get 15 extra minutes anyways. Proper way to do it is if you are using Rage Ultra for example, is to buy a foil bag or gallon of Rage Ultra Extra and mix in a ratio of 10%-30% of it with the Rage Ultra. It will extend your working time quite a bit, in hot weather probably up to 10 to 15 minutes depending on how much you use..

Ok, thank you Chris. I've been using 3M Platinum 01171. I like the filler, it's very smooth, spreads easy, almost no pin holes, and sands great. My only complaint is the lack of working time. I will try the Rage Ultra / Rage Ultra Extra as suggested. Thanks again.

total waste of time. metal temp is still high along with ambient temp . putting any chemical in the fridge is bad . your likely mixing too hot to begin with . pay more attention to your mix and keep a 9 in mud knife handy for final swipe . those little bondo blades just create tons of ridges to deal with .

5 tons of fun
