I am looking to paint a 1965 Pontiac Lemans project and have been researching and reading as much as I possibly can on the subject. I have found several references to Pro-Spray on this board and it turns out there is a local distributor for them in my town. I plan to use SPI clear and hopefully SPI primer too if I can talk my local distibutor into taking back this Omni primer I bought. I'm not real optimistic on that though since it has been quite a while ago. Anyway, that leaves me with a decision to make on base coat. The other brand I have been considering is the "Planet Color" factory mixed paint from the local NAPA store. I have seen this referenced as Sherwin-Williams, Martin-Senior, and also Acme Finish 1. I would really like to hear any opinions on the Pro-Spray versus the Planet Color product. They are similarly priced at about $80/quart. Thanks in advance!
