I am a novelist and have been reading the forums quite a bit and am leaning towards motobase for my project as it seems to be a well respected product, my only issue is they don't offer the original color for my project, its a 1970 international harvester copper poly 2282 code. Tcp global says they have the color but the general consensus seems to be tcp is a sub par product and id rather have a good paint than the exact original color. I was just curious if there was a way to possibly find and get chads the formula? Is there a way to get a formula from one company and give it to another? If this is a no I was looking at another color which leads to my next question: The next color is a 1970-71 Chrysler burnt orange fk5. I was talking to chads and they said it specifically says it needs to be based over black, my question is could I just base this over spi black epoxy sealer or is this not recommended? Thank you
