hi all. is it ok to use only black epoxy on the underside of my cowl hood?

Yup, The epoxy is durable and will maintain it's look if not exposed to UV light-a lot of people use it for underbody and engine compartments. Barry also recently added UV protection to the latest batches I think.

I think a quart would be enough.
