BMX helmet

hey guys i have a job coming up where a buddy of mine is going to do airbrush work on 20 BMX helmets for a local bike racing team. my job is to initially prep them and to clear them after the airbrushing is complete.
my question is will i need to use a plastic adhesion promoter on the helmets?
i do not know what kind of plastic they are made out of.

well, i dont know what bmx helmets are made from. they are probably alot like off road motorcycle helmets if not the same. in which case no you dont need any adpro. any helmet i have ever painted comes painted already from the manufacturer so it just gets scuffed, sealed and based.
