no, i for one understood that perfectly. thats great info for all of us. i had thought of posting this morning but i know actually very little on this subject. my thought how ever, was to fiddle with the fender shims to try and get it to match. i learned a little on an aftermarket dodge pick up fender. i got it........good enough for who its for? i believe fixing an OEM fender to be easier now.Okay, you might try to see if the fender needs another shim in the bottom. The rear top bolt controls height for the most part, and the bottom controls contour (mostly). If there is not enough shim in the bottom, the fender can get compressed and will bow outward too much.
That's not to say I know it's a problem, it's just something to keep in mind.
