Carbon fiber to painting a motor advice needed

I'm painting my v twin air cooled motor black with some parts will stay chrome and some will be polished up. The fins will be sanded to aluminum and polished. I thought about just spraying it with vht and clear it. Now thinking about just hitting it with SPI epoxy primer then black and universal clear.

On the carbon fiber, I'm skinning a fiberglass seat and tank with some carbon fiber, I'm thinking about using west systems epoxy resin and then clearing it with universal clear for uv protection. Then I will buff and polish. I will also be making some molds of certain motor covers to make carbon fiber copies of them and doing the same.

Any advice or improvements on my plans would be appreciated
