Clear Coat Leftovers why is it soft?

So after clearing with spi 1:1 Universal Clear I kept the remainder in the disposable cup system to see what it was like when fully cured in the bottom of the cup. It’s soft and pliable which I wasn’t expecting. This may be a Barry question but I was expecting it to cure like a rock as compared to like rubber.
Why is this?

Universal clear stays pretty soft. Hard clear = scratch resistant, easily chipped, buffs hard. Soft clear = scratches easier, flexible won't chip or cracked when bumped, buffs easy.

How long are you talking about that it's been sitting? How thick is the puck? Think of it as a bucket vs tray of water. Which is going to evaporate the fastest?

Like 1/4 size of a hokey puck maybe a week or teo in a warm dry garage. I did toss it so maybe not fully cured?

Yeah, I had the bright idea to use it for an outdoor table with recessed circles with colored glass pieces and poured UC about 1.5" thick like bar top epoxy is used and it looked great for a while but like 'juice said, basically splintered into pieces. Lessons learned page 362 in my skooled book.

Don’t forget page 23 in your skool book. You know the part that says don’t forget anything in this book.

I walk 30' to the house for some coffee and realize my cup is in the Shop.....
Think that is on like page 1or 2 but I forget...
