Clear coat over repaired Dupont Centari AE

I have a 68 Charger RT that I painted many years ago with Dupont Centari AE solid color red. Now I needed to repair a few chips an dings. I still had a third of a gallon of Centari that was still good and matched good. You can see the transition from old to new not from color difference, it goes away if I wet it with water. I WET SANDED THE WHOLE CAR with 800 grit AFTER SPRAYING JUST THE REPAIRED SPOTS. Sorry about the caps. Anyway what do you suggest spraying over the Centari to both cover the transition and provide more protection without peeling off in a year or so. 90% of the car is old Centari and 10% is new Centari.

If activator was used in the centari and activator is used this time you can paint and 24 hours shoot clear over the whole car with universal.

The original paint was painted using the proper hardener, but the touchup spots were not hardened with the proper hardener. After seeing that the touchup spots were not hardened with the proper hardener I purchased a pint of the proper hardener for the Centari and painted over those touched up spots with the Centari hardened with the proper hardener.
Can I now clear over the whole car including the spots that were touched up without the proper hardener and then re-touched up using the Centari mixed with the proper hardener? Will that then allow me to safely clear over it without problems, or will there still be problems due to the fact that the spots I touched up using Centari without the proper hardener under the newly painted spots with the proper hardener is still under the spots that I touched up without the proper hardener. I hope that wording of my question wasn't too confusing.
Thanks
Jim
