I shot 5 coats of Universal Clear.
Every stage; epoxy, 2K, epoxy sealer, base allowed to dry overnight, with recommended flash times between coats.
67 degrees, 45% RH.
I shot the clear Saturday, 4 days ago, with 30 minute flash between coats.
I covered it with Norton refinishing plastic for 1.5 days while I did the front half of the truck.
Clear looked great before I put the plastic on, like glass.
When I pulled the plastic, some areas
have cloudy splotches on the surface.
Here is a door:
I went through my cutting/buffing process on a section of the door:
1000 grit block, 1500-3000-8000 Trizac, then 3M 6094 polishing compound with black pad.
The clouds buffed out, but wondering if there is a problem and they will come back.
Thoughts?
