cool project i got to work on..

From someone whose idea of custom painting is wet sanding the clear and re-clearing, that was interesting to say the least.

One question, do you guys draw the scheme out first or just start painting.

ya it was a change of pace... no clear.. base coated over 220 da. it was good times... i had a little bit of a pencil sketch.. it was actually pretty tricky to do it with only the round pattern on my lph80.

it was my buddies stock of old paint..
dupont and nason.. ppg dbu and dbc, omni. hok. limco, xotic, matrix, all reduced with a 18 dollar gallon of duplicolor "specialty reducer" lmao.

Base? is it going to hold up that long or is this like the Tibetan monks that spend a week making a sand mandala only to destroy it because nothing is permanent?:p

base will hold up for a little while.. ive done my fair share of airbrushing over primer and it holds up for a few years without fading too much..
