Corona Treated Masking Film

Using some Duragold corona treated masking film. Probably a silly question but are both sides treated? Didn't get the pre-taped roll so I can't go by that. I can't see any difference from either side.

Every type I've ever used has had printing down the middle saying "spray this side." I can't imagine that they treat both sides, but maybe? The corona treatment leaves a duller finish than untreated, from what I've seen.

That's how mine is. Marked: Spray This Side

Regular 3M 6724 plastic sheeting will make a very big mess if painted on the wrong side

Thank you for the replies. There is no detectable difference from one side to the other. No printing. I have two rolls, one with a tape edge, one without. Both look and feel the same.

Couple of reviews on Amazon detailing issues with urethane auto paint. Use with caution. I buy the real deal 3M film intended for auto paint. Cost is about the same.

My searches kept coming up with a variation on that product where the printing couldn't be seen.

I like the 3M or Norton plastic sheeting. Both are 400 ft and the 3M ones I've been getting come with a bonus roll of yellow 1 1/2 tape. Never had any issues with either 3M or Norton with flaking and both are clearly marked.

my rolls have no marking at all. i agree with the other posters that i should have purchased 3M or Norton. i was expecting to see some type of marking but it just isn't there. thank you guys for the replies.

You could hang up a section of it and spray both sides and see if it flacks off one side or both.
