Yes found it in amazon but its not sold or shipped by amazon. When its 3rd party then the return policy and where you send it is up to the seller

I have to be able to buff under and around the cleats in a boat. They are fairly large. I dont have any pictures though

Hey Jim, Mike K.
I have one. it's a older red handle but in excellent shape. I got it years ago for crazy things like helmets and Kitchen Aid mixers,Riding Mowers. You know. Doesn't have a model number on it but I may have the box around or the book in my file cab.I can look tomorrow but it's a Dynabrade just likr the pic.
Exactly 2.5" from top of head to the Velcro pad.
That work for you?

I'm just spitballin' here, but, are the cleats not removable? Or, at least, able to be loosened in order to raise them a bit?

Hi mike, its been a long time. Yes i know the buffer you speak of. They actually discontinued that one and the replacement is the one bob posted the pic of. 2.5 is going to be too tall.

@AAE dont i wish. You have to tear apart the whole inside of the boat to gain access to the nuts on the inside to remove them. This is on a big sportfish yachts so you ripping apart woodwork and permanent built it cabinetry. To remove and replace them your prob talkin $100k.

Lol thats ok. Thanks though. I think im down to either this expensive dynabrade or shines flex cable type. Ill post back here to let everyone know what i ended up with and how it works. Thanks for everyones input!

Sorry. I thought because it was older and the one your wanting was the "New shinny" version, Your wanting the clearance instead of the speed-power factor. Whenever you add right angle to the job tool,it becomes interesting. We had that a lot in the A/C business with equipment and duct work especially. I saw a mechanic guy working on an Acura with a really close quarter right angle electric driver, the smallest I've ever seen but most anything of that sort is probably too slow but another line to look at maybe. Guess something in Dremels line is not feasible? I use their cable drive in my hobby stuff but if your doing a large commercial job is taking a shovel to move a mountain.

yes exactly, this is something i have to buff all the time. anything not really "industrial" is really not going to cut it, take way too long or will burn up and i would need to buy half a dozen of them just to make it through a years worth of jobs. if amazon actually sold and shipped one i would have bought it already just to see if it would work because they make it so easy to return.

oh man i was almost ready to get excited when you posted these since i had not seen them before. i looked into it more and unfortunately they are not buffers. they are right angle grinders that spin @ 23000 rpm for one and 15000 for the other. a 3" buffer will be geared down to around 3200 so you have some torque. thanks for this though!

might want to look into contacting them. Germans make dam good stuff and have an export salesman. you can Email.
