Easiest Spraying SPI Clear

I am thinking about buying some SPI clearcoat for my GTO that I will be painting next month. I have been looking at the Universal Clear and the Euro Clear so far but am undecided on what to buy. The car will be painted blue metallic. I would say that I am more of a "beginner" at painting. I have painted a couple of my other cars and a few panels but that's mainly it. I can't afford to pay someone to paint my car so I will be doing it myself in my garage. So, I'm needing something that will be fairly easy for a hobbyist like myself to spray. As far as the tools that I will be using, I have an upright 60 gallon tank Dewalt compressor and I have an Iwata LPH400 paint gun with a 1.4 tip and chrome cap that I will be using for this project. Does anyone have any recommendations on which clear would be the easiest to spray? Thanks

For a beginner, I would probably recommend the Euro. The Universal is a little higher solid and is a little harder to spray, IMO.

I like the Euro as well, plus I use the same exact spray gun you have. Setting the gun up is key and keeping the gun about 4-5" from the surface.

In my experience, the lower the solids, the "easier" to spray......having said that I now find that universal is easiest after learning to spray it.
