Epoxy build question

Probably over thinking this.

But would epoxy over 80 grit/filler, fill and build better if you spray 2 coats today and 1-2 coats tomorrow instead of 3-4 coats at one time, today....?

I use it as a build primer works excellent. I don’t use poly or 2k any more if time is not an issue. Have experimented with it a lot. I’ve been doing 1 heavy coat at a time and let it flash overnight. between coats so about 8 hours. Is probably very excessive but I don’t have to worry about trapping solvents and slowing the cure down even more. if you were to just pound multiple coats on. I really like the way it sands, I have had to dig back into cars I had polyester primed and the build is just way excessive with poly. And it is no way near as durable as spi epoxy. If you get your bodywork nice epoxy is all I find I’ve needed.

Also usually induce overnight it makes it a little thicker , I’ve average about 2 to almost 2.5 mils per coat
