Hi guys,
It's been some time since I've been here or really made any progress on my car. I've been working on bits here and there and been building my engine but things have been very very slow. I've already done my engine block in epoxy and I would like to do the timing cover, Ford 428CJ, in epoxy as well.
I'm concerned about painting over the cast alloy. It's a used cover so it's had many years of oil penetrating the alloy. Am I wasting my time, will adhesion occur and will the epoxy stay?
I've tried the search function but did not have any luck.
