Epoxy Primer over 2K primer

Can I spray epoxy primer over 2k without sanding the 2k? I'm working on the firewall of my 69 firebird, welded a bunch of holes and the heater core plate put everglass fiber over the welds then smoothed it over with rage, after priming it I could see all the filler spots.

If I spray a couple coats of 2k to hide the filler spots can I spray a coat of spi black epoxy over it without sanding. There are so many little curves and indents it would be very hard to block, besides my finish look will be black epoxy.
 
ALL 2K primers must be sanded prior to another application of a different product.
Gray pad is fine as suggested.
