Euro 5000 solids content

Excuse my ignorance but I have a question. Does lower solids = less UV protection? If so would an extra coat make up the difference? Thank you.

4.1 will be in the 73% to 76 solid range off of top of my head

4.1.1 will be in the 50% range.
.
Would this be correct..
If I have a 4:1 mixture 400ml clear and 100 ml activator, 500ml total and 73% to 75% is solids then wouldnt that be saying 500 * 75% would be 375ml of solids.. So take that same 500ml of mixture and reduce it 100ml for 600ml of mixture(4:1:1) that still only has 375ml of solids, so 375 / 600 = 62.5% solids 4:1:2 would be 700ml mixture and 375ml solids = 375 / 700 = 53.6%

the 53 you said, could be off by 2 or 3 points but splitting hairs. As i ball parked.
I was sitting at a gas station when I posted so all top of head answers but all close enough.

Yes, UV addition goes by weight, so higher solids and more coats will give you more UV protection.
One of the most interesting tests ever see
Was UV farm on a clear where we did three coats
Wetsand and three more.
It ate the lunch of the three coat test.
