Evercoat Plastik Honey Question

Does anyone use this with Evercoat fillers with EcoResin? The TDS says it's not recommended but doesn't say don't do it. I just noticed that the rage ultra I'm using has the EcoResin stuff. I was hoping to thin out my remaining filler some to get better spreadability.
Thanks
Quote from the TDS
Plastik Honey is not recommended for use in Evercoat Quantum1™ 10:1 Single Step Repair Technology products, or Evercoat Ultra Products that contain EcoResin
™.

You're probably right Dean, But if it was a real problem you'd think they'd say something on the container.

I ended up calling their tech line and got an answer from the second person I talked to. (first one couldn't find anything on the the subject). Apparently it boils down to the honey and the ecoresin are two different resins and you'd have to be a chemist to do it properly. But also said using 10% or less of the honey would be safe, or she suggested using there #425 Metal glaze Ultra for thinning the EcoResin products.
I hope someone can use this info in the future.

There sure is a lot to learn in this hobby!

I'm getting to the age where reading the tiny print on the cans is getting hard. I just go to the TDS. Sounds like you got the answer from Evercoat, that is great.

Not the same deal as plastic honey, but I have noticed quite the difference in performance of my fillers now that I weigh the mix out instead of eyeballing it.
What scale do you use to do that? Do you alter the mix ratio depending on temperature?

biggest mistake is not mixing your filler before adding the hardener . it will get creamy smooth if you work it for a few minutes the add hardener . learned this from the bodyman who taught me to put it on smooth in the first place .
