I agree with you...however it is the best thing available now, and is a 50 year improved everyday product. I think these learning painters and bodymen (me included) need to know that every good paint job that they have ever seen, every show quality, Pebble Beach, SEMA, magazine car that they have lusted after to duplicate, is loaded with copious amounts of polyester in all stages of the job to achieve their look. Does epoxy have better adhesion qualities...yes...but polyester sticks just fine...proven....does it shrink, yes, figure that in how you use it and buy good quality and USE IT RIGHT...the shrinkage isn't a problem...does it absorb water...maybe...keep the water out of it...I think you got burned by one brand of polyester (which we both agree is crap and shouldn't be used) and have been on a campaign to distinguish polyester entirely...I don't disagree, but there needs to be something better first....there isn't...by the way, epoxy has some problems too...I'm just sayin'...but I still think you're the best, Shine.....
