Personally I stay away from anything USC. Some years ago their BC/CC filler which was very popular would bubble. USC never acknowledged it and it personally cost me a lot of money and a job I liked. I had seven comebacks at the particular place I was at. I worked commission so any comeback was done for free. Every one of the cars had bubbles in the filler where it was releasing. All were done over PPG DP epoxy. These were not quick hitter type jobs either. Classic stuff. Redid two of them. Didn't make a dime for a month and a half and decided to quit because there were five more lined up that I had to redo. It didn't happen to just me either. Former Boss that I was still friends with, was on the National Auto Body Council and told me that Shops all over the Country were having this issue. That cemented my decision to leave because who knew how long this would continue. USC denied it, never honored their warranty and I will never use a USC filler product again.Might I recommend a significantly cheaper option…USC white gold.
Have you used this or used it recently? It came pretty highly recommended to me by Chad. Products change over time too, sometimes for the worse, and sometimes the better.Personally I stay away from anything USC. Some years ago their BC/CC filler which was very popular would bubble. Rage Ultra is the best I've used. Hands down.
After reading my post do you think I would ever use USC? Only way would be they would have to pay me, and not just a little bit either. Screw them. I used to recommend it too, until what happened to me. All I ever used. If something happens though, they will never honor their warranty.Have you used this or used it recently? I’ve used about a gallon of it so far. Find it pretty comparable to Platinum and sands easy. It wouldn’t break the bank for a DIY guy.
