Gold Leaf-Silver leaf

Hey guys i am wanting to put some leaf on a upcoming motorcycle project i have.

never done it before.

i have watched some vids and seen it on tv(yeah laugh,lol!!)

i am wanting to try my hand at it.

what products do i need and where can i get them at?

any help and info would be great.

TCP global has gold and silver and all variants of leaf

Squirrel hair brush
Sizing
Leaf
Matching powder sometimes helps

I had to leaf the front of a bar 3' tall x 75' long that was a learning experience.

As far as smaller scale stuff "size" design (sometimes you can mix silver powder in sizing to help avoid small defects in the leaf) ,you work up a little static on the squirrel hair brush on your shirt then use the static on the brush to pick up the leaf from the book of leaf,transfer it to the design laying it very gently ,then very gently burnishing leaf down with the same brush.
Then you can swirl in a pattern or whatever technique you chose.just dont breathe or sneeze.. im sure there are many other ways but this is how I've done it

i ordered a kit from lagoldleaf.com.

im sure it will be a major pain in the ass!

but i gotta try it.

When you use your size put some of the size somewhere else so that you can do a knuckle drag test on it. When you drag your knuckle acrosse it and squeks and feels tacky you are good to go. What size are you using? A fast of slow? I found that it was easier than what I thought it would be. I get my stuff from Coast Airbrush.
